December 20, 2007 Regular Meeting Agenda Item #5 Item Title C-5 2007-2008 Salary Schedule Amendments Issue/Rationale The Florida Minimum Wage will increase January 1, 2008, from $6.67 per hour to $6.79 per hour.   Hourly rates of pay below the new minimum wage have been adjusted accordingly.   Non-bargaining unit positions tied to the minimum wage rate have been adjusted to compensate for the 12 cent hourly increase. Recommended Action Approve the salary schedule amendments. Financial Impact Hourly increase of 12 cents per hour for substitutes, student labor, temporary adult labor, and staff development participants tied to the minimum wage rate.  Submitted By Toni A.
